WA’s leading business program that will support you to grow your business through skills development and connect you to industry networks, funding opportunities and a community of like-minded entrepreneurs.

The program is valued at over $10 000 and free for successful applicants.

 Now in its 7th year, CONNECT has supported over 100 businesses.

Who should apply?

Motivated entrepreneurs with a sustainability focused startup and a scalable innovation relevant to regional WA, who are keen to learn from business experts and connect to new networks. Existing businesses looking to implement a new innovation are also eligible to apply.

Priority will be given to regional based businesses, or businesses that are focusing on impact in the regions. 

Are there any costs?

The program is free for successful applicants. CONNECT is unique as a program delivered on a sponsorship model which takes no fees or equity from participants.  This model attracts the highest quality of applicants and helps deliver significant outcomes by ensuring all companies are provided the same level of support.

Who will be facilitating the masterclasses?

We have an extensive network of business leaders and trusted advisors that we utilise for training and mentoring, and will select guest speakers who will present on topics relevant to the cohort's needs. 

How many businesses will be selected for the CONNECT program?

The CONNECT cohort will include a minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 businesses to ensure curated individual support is provided, and peer to peer learning. 

When will the program run?

The CONNECT Sustainable Industries Business Incubator will run from May to September 2024.

What is the time commitment?

Participants will be expected to attend or view online at least 80% of the program activities. To discuss any availability and accessibility issues please contact [email protected]

Who are Innovation Cluster? 

Innovation Cluster have been highly active in the innovation space across regional WA for over 6 years. Our team are highly experienced in supporting entrepreneurs and scaling businesses. We have engaged face-to-face with more than 200 businesses through our workshops, incubator and accelerator programs. Innovation Cluster has delivered eight highly successful CONNECT Regional Innovation hubs across regional WA. Where will the masterclasses and events be held? 

The bootcamp and masterclasses will be based at Innovation Cluster’s new base in Vasse with office, training room and co-working space, with site visits in Perth. 

Those who apply from outside the south west will be provided with accommodation during the bootcamp on Monday June 24th, and will provide their own transport and accommodation at other times.
